WORST COAST...the story of the ellipsis

This post isnt really about what I thought about their performance but what led to it. Enjoy.

My feelings, thoughts, history, and happenings on Best Coast for those of you who don't have a long attention span.

Best Coast played July 23 2010 @ the South Street Seaport....I thought they sucked live.

Best Coast album was released on July 27 2010... I was obsessed with it. 

Best Coast played Fashion's Night Out...I missed it. 

Fast Forward 2 years

Best Coast announced their tour for the new album...I kept delaying buying my tickets.

Tickets sold out on July 16th...I was screwed...but not really.
Found tickets for ten bucks...went all the way to 72nd. UGH.

I had a gut feeling I would win one of the contest I've entered a few nights before...I did (THX BV...even though you told the venue my name was Susan)

After going all the way uptown to 72nd I refreshed my email and BAM, got those bad boys. 

My plan was then to find someone willing to come with last minute. That didn't work, so I turned to cute boys, men, boys? I don't know, I was turned down anyway. My last idea was to make a strangers day. I rolled up to Terminal 5 with the idea of giving the ticket to someone who lucked out of a ticket...found a few girls, the conversation went something like this:

"Hey, you're looking for tickets to the show?"

"OMDKEHFUHWEO!!!! YES!"

"How MUCH, WE NEED ONE, PLZ"

"Sure, here you can have it for free.."

"HOW MUCH, HOW MUCH, I HAVE 5 DOLLARZ"

"Uh-no, it's fi-"

*Throws money at me*

"Only 5 dollars?"

*Throws 20 g's (bucks) in my hand*

"Alright, follow me..."

Long story short, saw Best Coast again...



...liked DIIV way more. Nonetheless, I love Bethany and Bobb so much that even though they're not my favorite band to see live I will continue to go to all their shows simply because their first album was amazing and I have a massive crush on them both, especially Bethany, she gives me the excuse to use the word fabulous!
