Wavves Part Deux
When I went to go see Wavves with Fucked Up! (which was a 18+ show) some dude came up to me basically asking if I wanted to "mosh" with him. I politely said "I'm okay, thanks anyway!", but he wasn't taking no for an answer. He kept asking me questions and my best friend wasn't helping me get out of the situation because apparently she thought I was "into it", which I was not.
This led me to telling him I was underage, even though the show was clearly 18+. Harsh? MEH. Anyway, he then asked "Why do you have the number 13 on my hand? Or is that a 'B'?" followed by "Does it mean you're a BAY-BE?". I thought that was hilarious so I said "Yup"...and you would think he'd go away because at this point I'm considered jail bait...he did not. Whatever, my intentions are not to put the random guy "on blast" but to simply be able to soon look back on this post and just remember the word "BAY-BE" and be able to have a laugh attack.
As for the Twitter post, I have a horrible habit of reading others opinions on the show and I found this tweet and thought it was HILAR.

Top 5:
For those of you who won't admit that you read missed connections, cut the shit. It's okay to be a little desperate sometimes. But if you're like me you read them because they're hilarious, adorable, and usually genius.
Over the past month I've been collecting a few of my favorite stories. So here:

I clearly don't go to NYU (even though most think I do when I say LIU - idiots!) but I've noticed the NYU connections are always the cutest most simple "missed connections" ever.

Then there was this incident:

I say: They rule! Adorable Nathan "Wavves" Williams hails from sunny California and he's proud (and though I still think the East Coast is the "Best Coast" [cheesy reference that HAD to be squeezed in - go ahead, point and laugh] I have to admit that "California-type-people" are doing big things lately). I really enjoy him belting it out with no cares and no worries....and although he insulted my people, I still really enjoy the sounds of fun he creates. The fact that he doesn't try so hard to be this awesome dude makes him great. It just makes him so much cooler. He smokes weed, admits it and he isn't afraid to get silly, which definitely shows in their music!
